Renowned guitarist and session musician Arlen Roth travels up to Woodstock, New York. to record with famed drummer and ex-Band member Levon Helm on TOOLIN' AROUND WOODSTOCK. As one would expect from these two roots rockers, the fare is vintage Americana, with a 14-track set list of classic rock-&-roll songs, including Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen," Bob Dylan's "Ballad of a Thin Man," and Buck Owen's "Cryin' Time." Helm's high, country-tinged tenor lends earthy color, and a host of top-drawer session musicians give the disc a tight, polished sheen.
