Colorado-based bluegrass quartet Spring Creek's sound bespeaks an intense study of not just original bluegrass pioneers like Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs, but also the first generation of progressive bluegrassers, such as New Grass Revival and Hot Rize.
