On their debut EP, YT//ST, Yamantaka//Sonic Titan deliver a veritable tempest of fuzzed-out rock and neo-psychedelia that will leave listeners both dazed and thoroughly enchanted. With a sonic aesthetic that's equal parts lo-fi and noh theater, the band's gritty yet expansive sound is all about balance, and the delicate interplay between the grimy crunch of the recording and the sweeping theatricality of a song like "Queens" makes for an almost otherworldly listening experience.
