  • This may well be the first zydeco group fronted by a bass player, so it's not surprising that several of the songs here feature bass riffs a little more inventive than is common for the genre. Other than that stylistic oddity, this is your basic, meat-and-potatoes zydeco album, sung mostly in English and with lots of dance workouts in the vein of the title song. Delfose also turns out to have a bluesy side; "Each Dog Has His Day," for example, could be a '60s track by Buddy Guy if it wasn't for the accordion, and on the slower "Don't Tell Me About My Troubles," he comes across like a Cajun B. B. King.
