Chris Riddell is a British illustrator whose books have won many illustration awards including the UNESCO Prize and the Greenaway Medal. In 2015 he became the UK Waterstones Children's Laureate. His collaborations with Neil Gaiman (The Sleeper and the Spindle) and Paul Stewart (The Edge Chronicles) have been international bestsellers, and Chris is the writer and illustrator of the highly acclaimed Ottoline and Goth Girl series. His political cartoons appear in the Observer, the Literary Review, and the New Statesman.
